If I Could Give a Million Dollars Away

If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?

If I had a million dollars to give away, I’d dedicate it entirely to supporting animals in different ways. A significant portion would go to anti-poaching organizations at Kruger National Park. The work they do to protect wildlife is priceless, especially against the constant threat of poachers who target some of the most innocent and endangered species on the planet. By funding more patrols, better technology and resources, this money could help protect these animals and allow them to thrive in the wild where they belong.

Another portion of the funds would be used to make pet travel more accessible, especially for large pets. When we moved to Canada, I saw firsthand the challenges of transporting our dogs in crates in the cargo hold, both in terms of cost and comfort. I’d love to support initiatives that would make it possible for pets to travel safely and comfortably in the cabin with us. Having our dogs close, lying at our feet on a plane, would make vacations and international moves so much more meaningful and less stressful for everyone involved. It would be a dream come true for so many pet owners, but until I win the lottery, it’s just a dream!

Until one has loved an animal a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.
