A warm June has come to an end, and with it, a treasure trove of favourites that made the month truly special. From new beauty essentials that transformed my daily routine to the latest must-read romance novel that kept me enthralled, June was brimming with discoveries worth sharing. Join me as I dive into the highlights of the month, bringing you the best of beauty, books, fashion and more.

Fav Hair: I just fell in love with the messy bun from Delaney Childs. It was trending all over TikTok and Instagram. And for good reason. It’s so romantic and effortless.

Fav Series: Just like everyone else I really enjoyed watching the Fallout series. It got me playing Fallout 4 on playstation and I’m still obsessed with the game. We binge watched the series in about 2 days.

Fav Book: I’ll admit that I didn’t read as much as I would’ve wanted to this month. There was a lot of appointments and physio ect that were priority. But I’ll definitely get back to reading more next month. The book I enjoyed this month was It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover.

Fav Quote: Of course a quote from the queen, Elle Woods.

Fav Nail Inspo: In May I decided to start doing my nails at home. So I got all the stuff I needed to do gel nails and started looking for nail inspiration. For the month of June I actually had the Hailey Bieber chrome donut glazed nails and I love it. But I also love all the other bright nail designs for summer.

Fav Song: I first heard this song on Tiktok but immediately added it to my playlist when I listened to the full song on Spotify. It’s called Beautiful Things by Benson Boone.

Fav Beauty Item: This lip oil is a must have for this summer. It’s not sticky at all and glides on so smoothly. It’s the Nyx Lip Oil in the colour Missed Call. I have repurchased this for the 2nd time. It’s that good!

Fav Trending Fashion Item: Every woman knows that you need to have at least one button down shirt in your closet. There’s so many different ways to style it and wear it, making it a very versatile item. I like this one that I got from Amazon. It’s lightweight and perfect for me.

For my South African readers I have found this one from Superbalist that looks lovely.

Fav Fashion Illustration: I adore Megan Hess. Her illustrations have always inspired me. And this one just captures what summer feels like to me.
